Billing Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Billing Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the payment obligations and processes between Kitchen Ardent ("we," "us," or "our") and you, the customer ("you," "your"). By purchasing from Kitchen Ardent or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Pricing
- Currency: All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
- Taxes and Fees: Prices do not include applicable sales tax or other fees unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept the following methods of payment:
- Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
- PayPal
We may add more options (e.g., Apple Pay, ACH) in the future.
2.3 Payment Due Date
- One-Time Purchases: Payment is due at checkout.
- We do not currently offer subscriptions or invoiced billing.
3. Invoicing
- Invoice Issuance: Invoices are generated upon order confirmation.
- Delivery Method: Invoices are delivered via email.
- Customer Responsibility: Please ensure your billing information is accurate and up-to-date at checkout.
4. Late Payments
4.1 Interest on Late Payments
We do not currently allow post-purchase invoicing or net payment terms. Orders will not be processed without full payment.
4.2 Service Suspension
If payment is not received or is reversed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and deny further services until resolved.
5. Disputed Charges
- Notification Period: If you believe you were charged in error, please notify us in writing at support@kitchenardent.com within 15 days of the charge.
- Resolution: We will investigate disputes and respond promptly with a resolution.
6. Refunds and Credits
- All refunds follow our Return and Refund Policy.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
7. Taxes
- Responsibility: You are responsible for all applicable taxes unless you provide a valid tax exemption certificate.
- Sales Tax: Calculated automatically at checkout, where applicable.
8. Billing Errors
- Corrections: We will promptly correct any discovered billing errors.
- Overcharges: You will receive a refund or credit.
- Undercharges: You will be invoiced for the difference.
9. Subscription and Recurring Payments
We do not currently offer recurring billing or subscription-based products. If this changes, this section will be updated.
10. Payment Security
- All payments are processed securely using industry-standard SSL encryption.
- We do not store your payment information on our servers.
- All transactions are handled by trusted third-party processors like Shopify Payments or PayPal.
11. Changes to Billing Terms
- We reserve the right to update or modify these Billing Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Changes will be posted to this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
12. Limitation of Liability
- Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to billing or payments.
- Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Kitchen Ardent within the last 6 months.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.
